LPRS – New UHF multi-channel telecommand transmitter and receiver modules (LPRS - New UHF multi-channel transmitter)

Feb 20 2012 - Subs & Systems [More Subs & Systems Articles]

Availability of new multi-channel telecommand transmitter and receiver modules has been announced by LPRS. In addition to the high performance narrow-band FM (MSK) wireless design, the modules offer four selectable pre-programmed communication channels and six switch signal input/output processing circuits, allowing switch signals to be transmitted and received without the addition of external components. A simple control system may be quickly realised by connecting a switching board to the CDT-TX-02M-R transmitter.

The new CDT-TX-02M-R and CDT-RX-02M-R modules offer long-range control, low-voltage operation with low current consumption for reliable battery operation and CDT-01-compatible communication format. Output switching is via reliable Photo MOS relays and all circuitry is housed in robust metal casings.

These CE certified radio modules operate in the 434MHz ISM band and offer the following standard features; six switch inputs and outputs, transmitter standby mode in, four receiver operation modes, 10mW RF output power, MSK modulation, receiver sensitivity -120dBm, six switching signal transmission R&TTE (EN 300 220) and RoHS compliance. Power requirements for the CDT-TX-02M-R are 2.2-12V at 27mA with 1µA at standby and for the CDT-RX-02M-R, 3.0-12V.

Typical applications include; remote control applications, paging systems, emergency lights, alarm systems and start / stop control for motor-operated equipment including shutter blinds, garage doors, gates etc., says the company.
