While eliminating the need for additional equipment with a single cable development environment, the sought-after BeagleBone community development board, which delivers the bare bones with the greatest access to interface signals for sensors and controls, is now available from Mouser stock.

Intended to work stand alone or in conjunction with existing BeagleBoard and BeagleBoard-xM, BeagleBone is aimed at application developers enabling easy access to industry standard I/O’s. BeagleBone features the TI AM3359 processor, a 700MHz ARM Cortex-A8, 256-MB RAM, and a USB 2.0 port with the ability to supply power. BeagleBone and BeagleBoard-xM are ideal for such applications as 3D printers and industrial robotics, web servers and Internet-enabled kiosks, in-vehicle entertainment, and home media centres, says the company.
