Jan 17 2012 - Power [More Power Articles]Now available from Farnell, Microchip’s MCP9501/2/3/4 family of devices are temperature switches with ±1C (typical) accurate factory-set output thresholds. The devices are ideal for power supply systems where an over-temperature protection circuit is needed. The devices do not require external components, consume 25μA (typical), and the factory-set thresholds provide simplicity, says the company.
