EM Research – New 1500MHz phase-locked oscillator features ultra-stable power variation (LCO-1500)
Nov 30 2011 - Subs & Systems [More Subs & Systems Articles]The new LCO-1500 phase-locked oscillator, from EM Research, operates fixed at 1500MHz and features ultra-stable power variation (<±0.1 dB) over 0C to +50C operating temperature.
The unit offers exceptionally-low phase noise (<-100 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz) and low spurs (-60 dBc). The LCO-1500 is supplied with an internal reference (±5ppm stability) and provides +5dBm output power. The unit is available with optional external reference, or a high stability (to ±200ppb) internal reference.
The LCO-1500 is designed for satellite tracking and calibration, GPS measurement / monitoring, radio astronomy and telemetry applications.
Custom units are available in fixed frequencies from 1400MHz to 5000MHz in a standard connectorized package of 3.5 x 2.5 x 0.6 inches, with optional +10dBm output power, says the company.
