Review Display – Stylish IP65 touch PC units target sleek sealed operator interface needs (ACP-5000)
Jun 10 2011 - Subs & Systems [More Subs & Systems Articles]The stylish ACP-5000 series of touch PC systems is now available in the UK from Review Display Systems, offering integrators an alternative to ‘industrial-looking’ panel PCs for style conscious applications that require a sleek sealed operator interface.
With three screen sizes, 15.6-inch, 18.5-inch and 21.5-inch, the units feature the latest projective capacitive touch technology with anti-scratch front panels and support for multi-touch operation.
The sleek IP65-rated self-contained units feature fanless Intel Dual Core D510 CPU’s with support for up to 2GB of memory. Data storage is via SATA HDD or compact flash, I/O includes two Ethernet ports, two serial ports and six USB input connections. Application specific interfaces can be supported via two mini card expansion slots internal to the unit.
Designed to be desk-, wall- or ceiling-mounted via a rear VESA 75/100 mount, and weighing from 5kg dependant on screen size, the units are seen as ideal for information display, kiosk applications, control stations or showrooms where looks and style are an important part of the customer experience, says the company.
