ACAL Technology – New service reduces lead-time on competitively-priced crystal oscillators (ACT9300PR)

A fast delivery service on Advanced Crystal Technology’s (ACT) ACT9300PR clock oscillators has been announced by ACAL Technology. The reduced lead-time of 2-4 weeks substantially reduces typical fixed oscillator lead-times. This is achieved through an extensive inventory of blank oscillators, which are factory-programmed to exact customer specifications, enabling customers to meet ambitious time-to-market and cost targets.

The inventory of un-programmed devices covers a wide range of voltages, operating temperature ranges of 0C to 70C, or -40C to +85C, and stability of ±50ppm or ±100ppm. This level of choice allows the ACT9300PR to meet most application requirements.

The ACT9300PR has a 5mm x 3.2mm footprint and features a frequency range of 1MHz to 160MHz with typical peak-to-peak period jitter of plus/minus 100pS to 250pS at 33MHz.

To further accelerate the transition through design and prototyping to full production, ACAL provides specialist support during development, using its UK in-house testing services for frequency-control devices. These services include the testing of crystal and oscillator parameters and characteristics, shock and solderability testing, as well as high-temperature storage, says the company.
