TDK-Lambda – New 40-65W AC/DC PSUs for medical devices with applied part rating B (CSS65)

The new CSS65 series of compact, single-output power supplies, designed specifically for medical applications, has been introduced by TDK-Lambda EMEA.

With 4kVAC reinforced input to output isolation and input to ground isolation of 1500VAC, all CSS65 models meet the applicable safety requirements of UL/EN/IEC60601-1 making them suitable for use in medical devices with applied part rating B.

Offered in an industry standard 2 x 4 inch footprint, with a low-profile of 30mm including underside components, the open-frame CSS65 power supplies come with dual fused universal ac input, and can deliver up to 65W at 50C under convection cooling. Worst-case leakage current is less than 250
