MSC – Power relay can switch up to 200A at 400V
Apr 30 2009 - Switches, Relays & Onboard [More Switches, Relays & Onboard Articles]The Omron G9EC relay, which can switch up to 200A at 400V, is now available from MSC Vertriebs.
The G9EC’s switching section and driving section are hermetically sealed and gas injected, providing the capacity to interrupt a maximum of 1000A at 400VDC. Because of the sealed construction space to accommodate arcing is not required. The relay not only saves space but also helps to ensure safe applications. Dimensions are compact 98mm x 44mm x 86.7mm (length x width x height), says the company.
