A range of LCD controller boards, LVDS cables and transmitter boards, inverter power cables and LCD solution kits, is now available from DigiKey, following a global distribution deal with Digital View, a leading supplier of advanced connectivity solutions for the flat panel display market.

The controllers are preloaded with a wide range of panel timings for major manufacturers for fast, easy, off-the-shelf connection. The featured products will be available for purchase directly from Digi-Key through its print and online catalogues.

Underpinned by strong internal development engineering, over 10 years of LCD technology experience and sales operations spanning the globe, Digital View flat panel controllers provide connectivity solutions to high-performance digital display applications with multi-panel support, high reliability and multiple inputs. Applications include avionics, industrial, medical, transportation, broadcasting, marine, digital signage and many others. The distribution agreement will allow both Digital View and Digi-Key to fulfill both the design and production quantity needs of its far-reaching and diverse customer base, says the company.
