Surface-mount RCA jacks for audio/video applications
Apr 22 2005 - Switches, Relays & Onboard [More Switches, Relays & Onboard Articles]A new series of surface-mount RCA jacks, suitable a number of audio/video
applications, has been announced by CUI.
Available in with black, red, white, yellow or orange insulators, the
right-angle surface mount connectors come in 250pc tape and reel packages.
The jacks are housed in a metal body with insulator material made from PA66
high temperature plastic, making them suitable for IR reflow mounting.
The RCJ-01X-SMT series is able to withstand a potential of 500V r.m.s. 50/60
Hz applied between mutually insulated metal parts for one minute.
Insulation resistance for the jacks is 100Mohm, while contact resistance is
30mohm MAX at 100mA(max) 1Khz. The connectors are able to operate within a
temperature range of -25C to 85C.
