Low-profile right-angled surface mount LEDs
Mar 30 2005 - Switches, Relays & Onboard [More Switches, Relays & Onboard Articles]New low-profile, right-angled surface mount LEDs have been introduced by
LEDtronics. With the tiny footprint of only 2.4mm x 3.3mm, the Series SML070
LEDs are seen as ideal for placement on PCBs where components are densely
packed.
The devices are available in two versions, one-colour and bi-colour.
Single-coloured LEDs available are Yellow (590nm), high-efficiency Green
(570nm) and high-efficiency Red (620nm), all have clear lenses. Bicolour
LEDs come in the combination of high-efficiency Green / high-efficiency Red
with a milky-white lens. Depending on the colour, luminous intensities range
from 1.2mcd to 2.3mcd at 20mA current.
