Right-angle BNC jack connector reduces cost
Jan 11 2005 - Switches, Relays & Onboard [More Switches, Relays & Onboard Articles]A new right-angle circuit board BNC jack connector, manufactured using a
proprietary metal moulded technology ´zamak´ has been announced by Radiall.
Compared to the standard material utilised for the BNC connectors, the zamak
BNC connectors offer same electrical and mechanical performances at a lower
cost, says the company.
They are available in 50ohms and feature a very low return loss with 28dB at
up to 1.5GHz. The zamak BNC connectors are also highly solderable
through selective tin plating on the legs and centre contact.
