MikroE Unveils Game-Changing Remote Debugging Tech - EW24

The Electropages team met with Neb Matic from MikroE at Embedded World 2024, who introduced their innovative approach to standardisation and time-saving in product development through their extensive range of click boards. MikroE offers over 1,600 click boards, allowing for numerous unique configurations that facilitate rapid prototyping and testing for engineers. Neb highlighted their revolutionary remote debugging platform, Planet Debug, which allows engineers to access and control hardware remotely from anywhere in the world, showcasing a live demo of a board operated from another country via their IDE, Necto Studio.

Planet Debug enables real-time, step-by-step debugging over the internet, bridging distances by allowing developers to program hardware directly without needing physical access. This system supports a variety of microcontrollers and integrates seamlessly with Necto Studio to provide a comprehensive development environment. MikroE’s solution is particularly impactful for developers in remote or underserved regions, broadening access to advanced development tools and fostering global innovation in embedded systems.
